Open Studio Membership

For the independent and experienced potter. This membership gives you access to work in the studio. You will have access to the slab roller, electric wheels, wedging table, hand-building table, bisque molds, texture tools, and a shelf to keep in progress work on. Open studio members have unlimited studio access during open studio hours.

Fee: $250/month + clay/firing fees (standard). Clay and glaze/firing fees are sold separately. See clay prices here. All clay must be purchased from MVPS.

Due to the time it takes for pottery to make it through the firing process, Open Studio Memberships have a 2 month minimum requirement. (This requirement is waived for students transitioning into a membership who already have pieces in progress.)

If you are new to clay you must take a course prior to becoming a member. See our course offerings here. 6 months minimum experience working with clay required. Memberships do not include instruction. You must be proficient at working with clay and comfortable working 100% independently. We will contact you after you submit your application regarding availability. If space is available for you to join you my subscribe below. After subscribing to a membership please contact us to book your studio orientation with one of our staff members.

Open studio members get 25% off courses while the membership remains active. Members can choose to pause their membership for a maximum of 30 days for a fee of $125 no more often than every 6 months. During a pause your membership is not considered active and the 25% course discount does not apply.

Online resources are available to members for continued learning and explorations of the medium. This purchase will reserve your membership spot with us. If you wish to sign up please contact us.
